Once you trigger, the screen transitions, the music changes, and the round begins. The 5×4 grid stays the same. The 12 paylines stay the same. What changes:

- Fishermen become sticky. Each fisherman that lands locks to his position for the rest of the round.

Sticky wild multipliers — the heart of it
Here's the bit that distinguishes Bigger Bass Splash from a generic free spins round. When a fisherman wild lands during free spins:
- He sticks to his reel position for the rest of the round.
- He has a personal multiplier that starts at 1×.
- Each time he collects money fish on subsequent spins, his multiplier increases by 1×, 2×, or 3× (the increment is random per collection event).

Money fish collection mechanic
When a fisherman is sticky and a money fish lands on the screen, here's the sequence:
- The fish's pre-printed value displays.
- Every sticky fisherman on screen "collects" the fish — each one applies his own multiplier.
- The collected total = sum across all fishermen of (fish value × fisherman multiplier).
Example: a 100× money fish lands while two sticky fishermen are on screen, one at 3× and one at 5×.
Payout: (100 × 3) + (100 × 5) = 800× from a single fish landing.
This is why stacking sticky fishermen matters so much. Two fishermen at 5× each is better than one fisherman at 10×, because both apply their multiplier to every fish collected.
Retriggers — extending the round
You can retrigger from inside the bonus. Land 3+ scatters during free spins:

Retrigger frequency from inside the bonus is roughly similar to base-game trigger frequency (the same reels are used, just with the bonus-specific composition). Expect a retrigger in roughly 15-20% of bonus rounds.
Critically: retriggers do not reset sticky fisherman multipliers. If you triggered a 4-scatter bonus, accumulated two 6× sticky fishermen by spin 10, then retriggered for 15 more spins — you start the retrigger with both fishermen already at 6×, ready to collect more fish. Compounding continues.
Modifiers (pre-bonus extras)
